A lot of mappers use materials and props from that game. So you could make a CSS Minecraft map, or a TF2 Minecraft map or even a L4D2 map I have included several variations of textures, especially for pistons, that fit my liking, and I hope they help you. Purple textures and big red flashing errors in gmod are usually caused by you not having Counter-Strike: Source. What might I be missing? Sorry if this is bothersome, I just can't wrap my head around as to how this happened one day the textures just went to town on my gmod. As usual, these texture should work on ANY Source game. This way all texture issues would be eliminated. The request from me and thousands of other GMod players is that whenever we launch GMod from GFN, CSS and HL2 should be already installed within the steam directory. Now, the problem isnt really checkered textures (As far as what I have seen), its mostly just invisible textures and on the Map Change Selection Board, all of the selections are black/grey checkered. And those errors are all due to the missing 'Counter Strike Source' and 'Half Life 2' Textures. Need for Speed (2016), Need for Speed Payback, Need for Speed: Carbon, Need For Speed: Heat.

I then downloaded all of the textures that could possibly be needed from here !downloads/chgd and then got the 4 addons for Serious TTT ( Uploaded by Highwon), joined one of the servers ( Which downloaded a bunch of maps, pngs, guns, etc. The elegant, powerful, and open-source mod manager. I went then to plan 3 : Completely delete everything of my Gmod folder and reinstall things from there. I then went to a backup plan reinstall gmod and Cs s, that didn't work either. So basically, I tried installing all of the textures as above mentioned, using certain files from sites (such as the one i mentioned in the first post) and that didn't seem to work. Sorry to reopen this, but I think I have broken my GMOD further. An easy way to do it is but cs source copy the texture files from the game then import them into the gmod add ons folder.
